Patch 7 adds official modding tools to Baldur's Gate III

Baldur's Gate III is one of the biggest RPGs of all time and one that has changed the genre for good. Its innovative gameplay mechanics alongside its amazing storyline and outstanding graphics have made it a masterpiece worth taking a look at whether you are an RPG fan or not. Even though Larian Studios will not be releasing any DLC for Baldur's Gate III nor a sequel, the developers have released several patches to enhance the game with novelties and fix some minor problems. There were mods for Baldur's Gate III available previously but the official modding tools will allow players to customize many aspects of the game and create content without having to worry about many compatibility details. Patch 7 is currently available for the PC version of the game. Those playing on consoles or Mac will still have to wait for a while until they see it implemented. The update is available for free to all players and it also includes a series of improvements for Honour Mode, with new Legendary Actions that will make the game more challenging than ever. Also, the patch introduces new cinematics for certain evil endings, bug fixes, and improvements for those playing the game on a split screen.

Larian Studios has confirmed that this will not be the last patch for Baldur's Gate III. The developers want to continue improving the game, even though it's currently a masterpiece with an outstanding score of 96 on Metacritic, and massively positive reviews on Steam.
