Overwatch 2 beta will kick off next month

It seems that things are slowly getting back in motion inside Blizzard. World of Warcraft's next expansion will be announced soon, and now it seems that Overwatch 2, which has been out of the radar for a long while, is now back on track with a closed beta that will start in late April. In fact, this new version of the popular FPS arena battler is already being tested by Blizzard employees and Overwatch League pros, but it will be available to a wider group of people next month. 

Overwatch 2 closed beta

Unfortunately, not all Overwatch fans will be able to access the Overwatch 2 closed PvP beta that will take place in April. If you are interested in taking part in the beta, you can already request access on the Overwatch 2 official website and cross your fingers to be invited. Of course, this will not be the only beta for the game, so you will have more chances of trying the game in the future. The first PvP beta event will focus on 5v5 matches, and the participants will have the opportunity of trying the new hero, Sojourn. A total of four maps, the new Ping system, Push mode, and several hero reworks will be available during the beta too.

Blizzard has also detailed that it's splitting Overwatch 2's PvE and PvP experiences. As a result, PvP content will be available sooner in order to entertain the players while the developers continue to polish PvE content.
