Overwatch 2 beta will have new content

There were a lot of players eager to give Overwatch 2 a try during the beta that started recently. Unfortunately, access is not guaranteed, and you have to sign up to get a chance to be invited to the event. Even like that, the beta has been a source of endless videos on social media that have allowed us to get a glimpse of some of the new features. From the new hero, Sojourn, to the multiple changes made to the existing heroes and the new 5v5 matches, Overwatch 2 brings plenty of novelties to the table, but Blizzard has acknowledged that the testing process has still a long way to go.

Players are expecting to see other heroes, new maps, and other additions to the beta, and Blizzard has confirmed that more content will be added in the future. After all, Overwatch 2 PvP beta has been running just for a single week.

"This beta is just our first public test leading up to the future Overwatch 2 PvP release. Between now and then, we plan to add more content including heroes, maps, and features. There will be a significant amount of overall polish and refinement added in the form of enhanced UI, bug fixes, and more!"

Blizzard is getting quite a lot of feedback from the players and monitoring every aspect of the beta. It will use all the data to modify the game and offer the best possible experience. That includes class balance changes, a new scoreboard, and more. The ranked and competitive mode systems will have a significant overhaul, so we will have to wait for a bit longer to see them in Overwatch 2 PvP beta.
