Earlier this week Blizzard has tweeted a Diablo video that has had everyone wondering if the game finally getting a port for Nintendo Switch. Said tweet shows a nightlight that looks like Diablo being switched on and off and you can also read "Sweet dreams" on it. As you can imagine, the immediate reaction from people has been to assume they were teasing the coming of their famous action/RPG title to Nintendo's console, or at least that's what anyone would think about it.

Well, the joy didn't last much, because it seems it was kind of a sad joke. A Blizzard representative later told Polygon: “We can assure you we’re not that clever… [It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” Was it really needed to tease in that manner all those players that have been hoping for ports of Blizzard titles like Hearthstone or Diablo 3 for Nintendo Switch? Generating hype through speculation to kill it afterward looks like a sad way of getting retweets and likes, although it seems to work fine. If it wasn't intended, maybe official sources should be a tad more careful with their posts. After all, it's not like there are so many ways of interpreting that tweet.
