Days Gone will launch on PC

It seems that we were completely right when we said that the release of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC implied that Sony could have changed its policy about PlayStation-exclusive games. Quite a few years after its release on PlayStation and with a sequel that should arrive this year, Horizon Zero Dawn is still an epic adventure that has caught the attention of many players. Therefore, plenty of them have rushed to play the game on PC when it was released last year. Its success is probably what was needed to confirm that launching on PC games that were originally available only on PlayStation is not such a bad idea. It's no wonder then that more games will join that list, and Days Gone has just been announced as one of those.

In an interview with CG, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan has revealed that there are more PlayStation-exclusive games that will follow the same road, and later it was announced that Days Gone is coming to PC this spring.

Firstly, in terms of the straightforward success of the activity of publishing the game on PC, people liked it and they bought it. We also looked at it through the lens of what the PlayStation community thought about it. There was no massive adverse reaction to it. So we will continue to take mission steps in this direction.

Days Gone is an action survival game that was released in 2019. It's a post-apocalyptic adventure that puts you in the shoes of Deacon St. John, one of the few survivors of a virus outbreak that has turned most of the world population into violent and mindless creatures known as Freakers. The game offers you an open world to explore as you do your best to stay alive. You got separated from your wife and you are desperately looking for her, but it won't be easy to find her in a world full of threats. As a former soldier and bounty hunter, you will have to make the best use of your skills and instinct to find your beloved.

No release date has been confirmed for the launch of Days Gone on PC, but we expect to have some news on that matter very soon.
