    In Splinter Cell: Conviction, after the loss of his daughter, Sam Fisher is driven by a thirst for revenge. Having resigned from Third Echelon, he spends several years working to uncover the truth behind this tragedy. However, he eventually returns to service and works alongside people he no longer trusts.

    His personal quest leads him to uncover a large-scale conspiracy that threatens the United States.
