The graphical improvement looks slight, but I'm getting a bit fed up with the remaster craze, and even more so with older games, which really deserve a remake to refresh and renew the work! Remasters should be reserved for games from the PS4 era, or even limited to PS3 (on a case-by-case basis), to embellish games that are already beautiful and graphically correct.

It would have deserved a remake rather than a remaster, as the graphics are really out of date. Fortunately, the gameplay makes up for it, as it's simple and effective despite the years.

I've never played the original nor any other games of the saga so my interest in this one is very little. If in the future JRPGs are something I start to like a might give this a try, having real-time combat is normally a plus in my book
