Bring the known world under Pax Romana in Expeditions: Rome, a strategy RPG of epic proportions. Play as a young legate, hiding out on a military campaign after your father was killed by a political rival. Faced with barbarians and rebels, you must forge your own destiny and prove yourself worthy of a position of power. Whether by diplomacy or the sword, the world must bow to your will if you are to return to Rome triumphant.

Generate your own main character. Customize your legate’s appearance, class, skills, and even their gender! Playing as a female legate will have NPCs responding to you as befitting Roman society.

Fight in turn-based combat where the correct tactics will win the day. Employ your wide array of skills to gain an advantage against your enemy.

Gather allies to your cause. Recruit up to five NPC allies, each with complete personalities and backstories. As you level up your characters, you will gain more skills that can turn battles quickly in your favor.

If the full game can keep up the great momentum and quality as the demo shows, Ex: Rome will be a fantastic turn-based RPG with some great strategy elements. Absolutely worth playing.
