Ghostrunner is a first-person action game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk universe. After a great global cataclysm, what remains of humanity is confined in a giant tower-like city. Society has been divided into castes by a system that discriminates people depending on the implants that they have. Every aspect of life in the tower is controlled by Mara the Keymaster, who rules with an iron hand and little regard for human life. But as resources diminish people become desperate, driving the different levels of the tower into a state of chaos in which the strongest ones survive by predating the weaker.
InGhostrunner you are the deadliest blade warrior ever created, and your mission is to climb up through the different levels of the tower to destroy the Keymaster, hoping that it will be enough to give humans a chance for survival. Armed with a monomolecular katana, you will dash through the scenarios mercilessly killing enemies with your blade, in an epic adventure that blends the real world and cyberspace to create a unique experience.
