It Lurks Below

It Lurks Below is a 2D, retro-styled, action-survival RPG by David Brevik. Craft your custom character and select from numerous different classes to explore deep into the enigma of what evil lurks below. Discover and navigate through the arbitrarily created levels, acquire random items, and fight savage monsters to get the answers.

The game might appear similar to the other games in the genre, but it plays very differently. It is a spot-on RPG, with several stats and character classes. It is surprisingly reminiscent of other games made by David Brevik such as Diablo, Diablo II, Hellgate: London and Marvel Heroes. With six character classes to select from, randomly rendered levels, random stats on items, hidden areas, bosses, a survival talent tree and three different play modes, it brings on quite a different and distinct gaming experience.
