In the game, you will control a team of mutants embarked on a mission to explore a post-human world. With a settlement known as the Ark as your main base, you will venture into the Zone in a perilous journey to find artifacts, knowledge and maybe, one day, the Eden of the legends. Countless dangers are waiting for you in the unexplored area, and if you want to survive you will have to make good use of the abilities of your team members. Each of the mutants in your team is a unique character with a distinct personality and exclusive abilities and weapons.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden manages to perfectly depict a post-apocalyptic world with beautiful graphics. It features a great mix of exploration and strategy that includes stealth mechanics and a turn-based combat quite similar to the one seen in the XCOM series, (action points, grid movement, cover, etc).
