A new trailer and three fighters revealed for MultiVersus
A few days ago, Player First Games revealed some gameplay of their upcoming game MultiVersus. As the name suggests, it is a fighting game like Smash Bros, in 2D with platforms. The particularity of the game is that it will feature different heroes of the licenses owned by Warner Bros. For example, we already know that Sammy from Scooby-doo, Batman, and Tom & Jerry will be part of the roster.
Earlier today, the studio published this trailer totally realized in CGI. In addition to being of excellent quality and fun, the cinematic introduces us to three new fighters of the game: Taz from Tasmania, Vera from Scooby-doo, and the Iron Giant. From May 19 to 29, a closed beta phase will take place, and players who get invited will be able to test about 15 different characters. The unlucky ones who don't get their spot in the beta will have to wait until July to participate in the open beta.
As a reminder, the game will be released in 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC. MultiVersus is a free-to-play game, but if you want to have some fun with a similar game ahead of its launch, we recommend you to check out our comparator to find a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate key at the best price.
