This is one of those games that seem a joy to play. I love the Arkham series but I'm not gonna buy a VR set just for it and a couple of other games. Nonetheless I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it turned out to be.

Batman: Arkham Shadow is easily the best the Bat has ever played in VR, iterating upon the design tentpoles of its flat screen counterparts to make roleplaying as the Dark Knight a real thrill. While there are currently some technical drawbacks preventing it from achieving true greatness, it’s attention to detail with regards to the world and what you can do with in it ultimately make up for these challenges and makes the game feel like a genuine part of the Arkhamverse.

While it may not have the immersive mechanics to be a great virtual reality introduction, Batman: Arkham Shadow is fun to play and true to its Arkham predecessors.

Very good vr game, but the problem is that it's a vr game so not many people will actually play it and the game is inevitably rather dated graphically.

The story, gameplay, mechanics and puzzles are all very well done, but there are a lot of frustrating bugs.
