Konami has officially announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, scheduled to launch on August 27, 2026. The definitive highlight of this compilation is the long-awaited rescue of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots from its PlayStation 3 confinement.

For the first time in nearly two decades, players can experience Solid Snake's cinematic final chapter on modern hardware with enhanced resolutions, smoother frame rates, and modernized control schemes, following from Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1.
