If you spent countless hours grinding for the perfect rolls on your fighter's bindings in the first game (Minecraft Dungeons), you are going to want to lock in for this one.

Two Worlds, Double the Chaos

Minecraft Dungeons II is doing things in a completely different way this time and it's making the adventure way bigger. The developers are ditching the comfortable confines of the Overworld to drop you straight into a massive quest spanning two distinct worlds.

 

 

In this sequel, a mysterious new threat is tearing things apart, and it is up to you to hack, slash, and roll your way through completely unexplored biomes filled with aggressive new mob variants that want nothing more than to end your run.

Players can also expect experiencing the same fast-paced, isometric, top-down action that made the first game an absolute blast, but with deeper RPG mechanics, wider exploration spaces, and an avalanche of shiny new loot to optimize your builds.

The developers made the game more enjoyable by adding cross-platform support. Whether your crew plays on PC, consoles, or handhelds, no one is getting left behind in the camp. Minecraft Dungeons II is coming locked and loaded with full cross-platform multiplayer. You can team up online or invite your friends over for some classic couch sessions via shared and split-screen local co-op.

Le retour de Minecraft Dungeons avec un deuxième épisode paraît cohérent au vu du succès du premier. La direction artistique reste fidèle à l’univers de Mojang et les nouvelles armes annoncées peuvent renouveler les combats. Je reste surtout attentif à l’équilibrage du butin et au rythme de progression, car ce sont souvent les éléments qui déterminent l’envie de continuer sur le long terme
The return of Minecraft Dungeons with a second installment seems logical given the success of the first. The art direction remains faithful to Mojang's universe, and the announced new weapons could refresh the combat. I'm particularly focused on loot balancing and the pace of progression, as these are often the elements that determine whether someone wants to continue playing in the long run.

J’avais testé le premier Minecraft Dungeons à sa sortie et je n’avais pas été totalement emballé. Le jeu était plutôt agréable en coopération, mais les combats devenaient vite répétitifs et la progression manquait de profondeur à mon goût. À voir si celui-ci fait mieux
I tried the first Minecraft Dungeons when it came out and wasn't completely blown away. The game was quite enjoyable in co-op, but the combat quickly became repetitive and the progression lacked depth in my opinion. We'll see if this one does better.

Minecraft Dungeon è stato un ottimo gioco e non vedo l'ora di provare questo nuovo capitolo con tutti gli aggiornamenti che ci sono stati negli ultimi anni così da poterci perdere svariate ore

A surveiller, le premier opus était plutôt sympathique mais manquait de contenu à mon goût, j'espère que cette "suite" ne fera pas la même erreur et aura un suivi de contenu un peu plus soutenu. Il n'en reste pas moins un bon petit jeu en coopération sur le canapé !
Keep an eye on this one; the first game was quite enjoyable but lacked content in my opinion. I hope this "sequel" doesn't make the same mistake and will have more substantial content updates. Nevertheless, it's still a good little co-op game for playing on the couch!

Minecraft is so crucial to Xbox right now that we'll probably see even more spin offs and related works in the near future. I'm not complaining though, Minecraft is awesome.
