Soar across vast skies and gorgeously rendered landscapes with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. After a 14-year gap, Microsoft has finally released a sequel to their long-running flight simulator series, and it’s more faithful to the flying experience than ever.

Choose among 20 planes, such as stunt biplanes, the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, and even the Boeing 747-8. Take off and land at 30 handcrafted airports, each with specific traits and difficulty levels. Practice your flight skills with instruments and tools that are faithful to their real-life counterparts. Enjoy a physics engine that simulates realistic wind movements on hills and mountains, and how it interacts with flight control.

However, the real magic of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 happens outside the cockpit. Instead of handcrafted maps, the game simulates the Earth’s surface using Bing Maps, creating highly-detailed and realistic models of the world through 2 Petabytes of data available on demand from the cloud. You can fly over jungles, deserts, oceans, cities, and famous landmarks—even fly over your own home.

The Azure AI also includes real-time weather and traffic to complete the experience of flight. If you prefer, you can adjust the time and weather to your liking, allowing you to attempt landing during a snowstorm or just gliding through the evening sky. If you prefer a challenge, test your landing skills at various airports, or look for safari animals to photograph from the air.

Whether you’re an experienced pilot or a casual gamer, you’ll find a wonderful experience flying with Microsoft Flight Simulator 20202.
