Italy and Malta get a new look in Microsoft Flight Simulator

As you probably know if you've been following us, Microsoft Flight Simulator has received a series of game updates since it was released. The game offers the most realistic simulation experience to those that want to soar the sky on a plane, and it makes use of satellite data to create a representation of the world as faithful as it gets. But everything can be improved, and developer Asobo continues to enhance the different countries around the world with each update by adding new landmarks and different gameplay experiences that put to the test your piloting skills. 

The Iberian Peninsula, the UK and Ireland have been modified in recent updates to look better than ever, and it seems that it's the turn of Malta and Italy. 

Novelties in World Update 9 

The latest update for Microsoft Flight Simulator adds more than a hundred points of interest to Malta and Italy. Both Mediterranean countries are now represented more accurately in the game. Cities like Ancona, Bari, Cittadella, Milan, Napoli, Padua, Paestum, Parma, Pavia, Perugia, Roma, Turin, and Venice have been overhauled with photogrammetry, and you can now watch them from the sky in full detail. The update also includes a total of three bush trips, three landing challenges, and three discovery flights that will let you explore different regions.

Like its predecessors, World Update 9 is completely free for all Microsoft Flight Simulator owners on Xbox and PC.
