Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, the longest game developed by MachineGames, has received acclaim for its compelling storytelling, breathtaking visuals, and nostalgic nods to the classic films. We believe the first challenge on the road to serialization is identifying the right framework for the sequel, especially in terms of time. Machine Games' latest game is set in 1937, between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, and in our opinion it would be a mistake to significantly deviate from the timeline of the original trilogy, or from the context of the fight against Nazism.Perhaps the beginning of the 1930s, rather devoid of references to the Indy canon. It's possible, but we know how beneficial pop references are to products of this kind. With a mix of hope and desire, we admit that we'd much prefer it if the developers chose to set a new chapter in 1939.

El juego ha sido bien recibido por la comunidad, y es genial ver cómo un título original puede generar tanto entusiasmo y expectativas de continuidad. Lo que más me emociona es pensar en cómo una secuela podría ampliar aún más el mundo de Indy, con nuevas misiones, localizaciones exóticas y una narrativa que mantenga el equilibrio perfecto entre acción, misterio y exploración. J’ai apprécié Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Le jeu réussit à capturer l’esprit de la saga, avec une aventure rythmée, une ambiance fidèle et un vrai respect du personnage d’Indiana Jones. L’exploration, la mise en scène et le soin apporté à l’univers montrent clairement le savoir-faire du studio. Cependant, je ne vois pas l'intérêt de faire une suite directe. Pour moi, l’histoire racontée se suffit à elle-même et n’a pas forcément besoin d’être prolongée. J’aimerais davantage voir le studio prendre des risques créatifs et proposer un tout nouveau jeu, avec un univers inédit ou des mécaniques différentes, afin de surprendre les joueurs. Une autre option intéressante serait de rester dans l’univers d’Indiana Jones, mais en mettant en avant de nouveaux personnages, avec Indiana dans un rôle secondaire, plus mentor ou figure de légende. Cela permettrait de renouveler la formule, d’explorer de nouvelles perspectives et de faire évoluer la licence

The game manages to capture the spirit of the saga, with a fast-paced adventure, a faithful atmosphere and a real respect for the Indiana Jones character. The exploration, staging and care taken with the universe clearly demonstrate the studio's expertise. However, I don't see the point of making a direct sequel. For me, the story tells itself and doesn't necessarily need to be extended. I'd rather see the studio take creative risks and come up with a completely new game, with a new universe or different mechanics, to surprise players. Another interesting option would be to stay within the Indiana Jones universe, but to feature new characters, with Indiana in a secondary role, more of a mentor or legendary figure. This would allow us to renew the formula, explore new perspectives and further develop the license.
