We believe the first challenge on the road to serialization is identifying the right framework for the sequel, especially in terms of time. Machine Games' latest game is set in 1937, between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, and in our opinion it would be a mistake to significantly deviate from the timeline of the original trilogy, or from the context of the fight against Nazism.Perhaps the beginning of the 1930s, rather devoid of references to the Indy canon. It's possible, but we know how beneficial pop references are to products of this kind. With a mix of hope and desire, we admit that we'd much prefer it if the developers chose to set a new chapter in 1939.

If Indiana Jones and the Great Circle delivers a strong story and satisfying exploration, I can definitely see it deserving a sequel. The world and concept feel big enough to expand on, especially with new locations, puzzles, and adventures. A sequel could really build on what works and turn it into a long-term adventure series rather than a one-off game.

This game marked a very solid experience, with elements that perfectly capture the classic Indiana Jones adventure and that, according to the news, have been well appreciated by both players and the company behind the project. I enjoyed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The game manages to capture the spirit of the saga, with a fast-paced adventure, a faithful atmosphere and a real respect for the Indiana Jones character. The exploration, staging and care taken with the universe clearly demonstrate the studio's expertise. However, I don't see the point of making a direct sequel. For me, the story tells itself and doesn't necessarily need to be extended. I'd rather see the studio take creative risks and come up with a completely new game, with a new universe or different mechanics, to surprise players. Another interesting option would be to stay within the Indiana Jones universe, but to feature new characters, with Indiana in a secondary role, more of a mentor or legendary figure. This would allow us to renew the formula, explore new perspectives and further develop the license.
