The world of Kimetsu no Yaiba is once again coming to life in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the original Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles released in 2021. Developed by CyberConnect2 and published by SEGA and Aniplex, this installment deepens its ties to the anime by expanding the story and gameplay, while enhancing visuals, combat systems, and roster size.

The game launches in Japan on August 1, 2025, followed closely by a Western release on August 5, available across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The sequel faithfully adapts key story arcs from the anime, including the Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village, and Hashira Training, delivering cinematic storytelling through a revamped Story Mode.
