Blizzard reveals the dates for Diablo II: Resurrected open beta

It's been quite a long wait for all the fans of Diablo, but a new chance to experience the gameplay that made the series what it is today is coming next week. Blizzard announced Diablo II: Resurrected a while ago, and since then, many things have been said about its features and the new graphics, but overall, what the fans are waiting for is another opportunity to enjoy its multiplayer and to immerse again in the world of Sanctuary as their favorite heroes. 

If you are one of the many players that would like to discover Diablo II: Resurrected, but you have not decided if you should buy the game or not ahead of its launch, you should take part in the upcoming open beta event that will take place next week. Blizzard has just confirmed the dates and details for the different beta phases in the following weeks. If you pre-ordered Diablo II: Resurrected, you start early with a beta event that kicks off on August 13 and will last until August 17. A few days later, on August 20, the open beta will begin. Anyone that wants to try Diablo II: Resurrected will have access to the first couple of acts in the campaign in Diablo II: Resurrected and, of course, co-op multiplayer for up to eight people and PvP.

 

 

If you are going to play Diablo II: Resurrected beta on PC, you need to keep in mind the minimum and recommended settings for the game, which Blizzard has also revealed:

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3250/AMD FX-4350.
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 660/AMD Radeon HD 7850.
  • RAM: 8GB.
  • Storage: 30GB.
  • Resolution: 1280 x 720.

  • OS: Windows 10.
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-9600k/AMD Ryzen 5 2600.
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT.
  • RAM: 16GB.
  • Storage: 30GB.
  • Resolution: 1920 x 1080.
