Bethesda will launch a Skyrim Anniversary Edition

It's been ten years already since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim became one of the most popular role-playing games of all time. In 2011, the world of Tyria was already well known to the fans of the genre, and Oblivion had left quite a good impression on them. The announcement of Skyrim was received with joy by the fans of the series. The expectation around the new installment in the popular series continuously grew ahead of the release due to Bethesda's information. The launch of Skyrim was a huge success, but when players finally got to immerse themselves into the game, the kind of experience it offered was nothing like anything seen before. Superb graphics, plenty of gameplay options, a deep storyline, and the freedom to follow it or not and explore the world however you choose are just some of the features that made the game hit.

Skyrim was popular enough to deserve several expansions, including Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard, that would expand the content in the main game with new storylines. The launch of Skyrim: Legendary Edition and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim VR later contributed to making the game even more significant. Nowadays, it's a must-have in the library of any fan of video games.

November 11 is the 10th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and developer Bethesda Softworks wants to celebrate it by launching a new version. Skyrim Anniversary Edition will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, with free upgrades to the next-gen version if you purchase the game on PS4 or Xbox One. It will include the base game and its three expansions and over 500 pieces from the Creation Club (mods), which usually require you to pay to access them. These add a wide range of activities, quests, bosses, and items to the game, making your adventure in Skyrim even more epic.
