Beast of Reincanation: A Surprisingly Reasonable Hardware Target

The countdown to Beast of Reincarnation is almost over, and now there's one last beast standing between players and the adventure: their gaming PC. Developer GAME FREAK has officially unveiled the PC system requirements for its new action RPG, giving players a chance to find out whether their hardware is ready to brave a ruined Japan filled with monstrous creatures and deadly encounters.

Unlike the studio's colorful Pokémon adventures, Beast of Reincarnation ventures into much darker territory. Those hoping to hunt monsters with smoother visuals at 1080p, Medium settings, and 60 FPS should look toward the recommended configuration. GAME FREAK suggests an Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, paired with 16 GB of RAM and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 with 12 GB of VRAM or an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT with 12 GB. Windows 11, DirectX 12, an SSD, and the same 45 GB of storage space are also required, with DLSS or FSR 3 Performance mode recommended for optimal results.

Considering the growing appetite Unreal Engine 5 games have shown for expensive hardware, Beast of Reincarnation is refreshingly reasonable. An SSD is still mandatory, but players won't need to mortgage their graphics card just to explore its haunting landscapes. If your PC has been keeping up with recent AAA releases, there's a good chance it'll be ready to accompany Emma and Koo on their dangerous adventure.
