Baldur's Gate 3 will launch next summer

Larian Studios is working on one of the most anticipated RPGs of all time and players can access it via Early Access on Steam. We are talking about Baldur's Gate 3, of course, a masterpiece from the creators of Divinity: Original Sin II and the latest installment in the legendary series started by BioWare in 1998. The Forgotten Realms universe is brought to life like never before in an epic adventure that will put the destiny of the iconic city in your hands once more. 

Baldur's Gate 3 achieved an impressive number of sales when it entered Early Access. Since then, Larian Studios has been adding more content to the game, including classes like the bard, new gameplay mechanics and features, and more. Players who are already enjoying the game have access to limited content, but most of the reviews acknowledge that the game is far superior to its predecessors in terms of mechanics and graphics. The level of character interaction with the environment is unprecedented, even in combat, which opens up the game to plenty of strategies that you have never seen before in any other RPG.

Baldur's Gate 3 has all the elements to become the Game of the Year in 2023 if Larian plays well its cards. Yes, we said 2023. The studio confirmed that the game will abandon Early Access next August according to the information revealed yesterday in The Game Awards, where we could also watch a new and spectacular trailer.

Also, Larian revealed the contents of an exclusive Baldur's Gate Collector's Edition, which is limited to 25,000 copies worldwide and comes with a bunch of goodies, including a Mindflayer vs. Drow Battle Diorama, a hardcover art book, character sheets for the characters in the game, a cloth map, a tadpole keyring, 32 stickers, several Magic: The Gathering booster packs, a certificate of authenticity and a metal Baldur's Gate 3 D20.
