Bad news for the PC users eager to play the new title of the Assassin's Creed series. Ubisoft has officially announced that the PC version ofAssassin's Creed: Syndicate won't launch on the expected date, but on November 19, one month later than it will be out for consoles. The reasons claimed for this delay are mainly more time needed to optimize and polish said version in order to provide a stable gaming experience from day one: "We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project," explains Ubisoft Kiev studio's production manager Sam Kovalev. "This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year." "The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one," added Kovalev.

Developers have also confirmed that even if the recommended system requirements, still being finalized, are targeting 1080p and 30fps the game won't have resolution or framerate locks. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is set for launch for Playstation 4 and Xbox One on October 23 and will be ready for PC on November 19. From here, hoping for the best possible launch for this new installment of the epic saga, we always prefer to wait a bit more if the result is worth it.
