A Monster Hunter Stories 2 playable demo is coming soon

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was announced for the very first time last September and its release is scheduled for next month, but we have discovered more things about it during the last few days. Back in March, it was revealed that the game will not only be released on Nintendo Switch, but also on PC via Steam, and the icing on the cake is that it will be available on both platforms on the same date, July 9. It's worth mentioning that the fans of the franchise couldn't enjoy the same situation with Monster Hunter Rise, which is already available on Switch, but whose release on PC won't take place until 2022.

Anyway, this past week we were able to get some information about Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. A new trailer was unveiled last week at the Summer Game Fest, and it showed the bonuses included in the Deluxe Edition of the game, as well as the amiibos that will be available.

But yesterday, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was brought back into the spotlight at Capcom's conference. A new trailer showing gameplay and focused on combat was shown, and we also got a slightly broader look at the game's story. But perhaps the biggest news is the announcement of a playable demo of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. It will be available on Nintendo Switch on June 25th, but PC players will have to wait until the game's release on July 9th to get their hands on this trial version. Even if this delay is certainly disappointing for many players, this demo will still allow you to form your own opinion about the game before buying it.

As an added bonus, any progress that you make in the demo will transfer to Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin if you decide to purchase it afterward. In that case, you know how to get it at the best price: just visit our comparator!
