A reformed Agent 47 returns in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, only to find himself tested in every way. The renowned assassin is hiding in Sicily, working as a gardener for a small church. When the mafia kidnaps his friend and mentor, Fr. Vittorio, 47 contacts his old employers, the ICA, to help locate him. Nothing comes for free, however, and the ICA soon has 47 reinstated in his old job. The rabbit hole goes deeper as 47 discovers he is the target of a conspiracy, and before long must confront the shadows of his past in order to be rid of it forever.

Incapacitate enemies using chloroform and take their clothes, but beware that disguises are not foolproof. You can still blow your cover if you perform suspicious acts, wield the wrong weapon, or get too close to an enemy. You are free to employ strategic and creative thinking on all the missions. Kill targets with your arsenal of weapons, which include the trademark Hardballers and garrotte, or you can set up traps or poison your targets for the stealthy kill.
