One of the best survival horror in the world. Not "the" best of course, it has several flaws, like for example an exploration that tends to hold you by the hand and a difficulty that is a bit low, but the sound design is probably the strongest point and rarely a game will succeed in terrifying you like this one. Let's hope the remake will be even better.
