We hardly ever find gems like this anymore. Niche games that are not made for the lowest common denominator following trends, but small IPs with their own identity and style. A must buy for all those who complain about "modern games". This game makes you feel like you are going back in time, to a better era.

A bit pricey at 50€ on Steam if you like tower defense try to find a third party retailer to get it cheaper. There's also a demo available.

I bled the demo; game bought. rather addictive if you like tower defense strategy action. Unexpected game worth the detour. just a bit expensive 50€ ... I would have preferred something like 39,99€ more coherent given the content.

Kunitsu-Gami levels run on a short day/night cycle, the daylight hours are spent searching for people to rescue, reinforcing my defenses and repairing key local structures, the night is spent fighting the hordes of monsters heading straight for Yoshiro.

The game appeals to me a lot, but I really don't know what to think of it... I think there's a lot of tower defense and strategy that puts me off a bit.

A game where you don't kill your human enemy but free them of their curse to fight the true demons. Or at least that is what I took away from it. I really love that idea.
