Imagine being chased by a demonic, man-eating train engine with a horrible face and giant spider legs, and you’ll have an idea of what Choo-Choo Charles is about. In this first-person open-world survival horror game, you are a lone engineer who must find a way to destroy Charles, a monstrous cannibalistic engine that roams the countryside. Your only weapon, however, is a yellow train engine equipped with a machine gun.
Your only chance of defeating Charles is to upgrade your train into a war machine capable of killing the possessed engine. But getting there will be tough. First, you need to perform quests for the villagers of the island, people who aren’t exactly upbeat about your chances against Charles. Second, you need to gather materials from the wilderness that you can use to upgrade your train. But be warned: while your train offers you relative safety, it has to remain on the track, so you will have to scavenge on foot. This gives Charles plenty of opportunity to hunt you down. Imagine a horrific train engine rushing at you with its grinning mouth and its spidery legs, and know what kind of nightmare you’ll face in Choo-Choo Charles.
