    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use abilities from different forms simultaneously, and if so, how?
Yes, you can mix and match abilities from any form. This is done through the 'form customization' system where you can equip any ability you have unlocked onto any form, creating unique hybrid builds.
How does form progression work beyond simply gaining levels?
Forms level up to unlock their base abilities, but additional progression comes through completing challenges associated with each form. These challenges unlock new abilities and form-specific passive buffs.
What is the significance of the 'Form Gems' that I collect?
Form Gems are a currency used to purchase new abilities and upgrades for your forms at specific vendors found throughout the game world.
How does the game encourage players to switch between different forms during combat?
The game rewards form-switching through the 'Form Shift' mechanic, allowing for strategic use of different forms' abilities. Some enemies are also more vulnerable to attacks from specific forms.
Are there any forms that excel at ranged combat, and how do they differ?
Yes, forms like the Ranger and the Robot specialize in ranged combat. They differ in their abilities and playstyles; the Ranger focuses on precision and traps, while the Robot utilizes high-tech weaponry and area-of-effect attacks.
How does the 'Status Effect' system interact with the different forms and their abilities?
Status Effects, such as 'Stun' or 'Burn', are a core part of combat. Each form's abilities can inflict different status effects. Clever application of status effects across multiple forms is key to overcoming challenges.
What is the purpose of the 'Dungeon' mechanic, and how does it relate to form progression?
Dungeons are procedurally generated areas filled with enemies and puzzles. Completing dungeons often rewards new abilities, Form Gems, and contributes significantly to the overall game progression.
How does the game promote experimentation with different form and ability combinations?
The game provides a variety of enemies and challenges that require players to adapt their builds. The ability to freely swap abilities between forms encourages players to experiment to find the most effective strategies.
Does the game have a 'New Game Plus' mode, and if so, what carries over?
Yes, a 'New Game Plus' mode allows you to replay the game with all your unlocked forms, abilities, and Form Gem upgrades, providing new challenges and reasons to revisit the world.
How does the game balance the power of different forms to avoid any one form becoming dominant?
The game uses a combination of factors, including ability scaling, enemy weaknesses and resistances, and the overall design of challenges, to ensure that multiple forms remain viable, and form-swapping remains essential.
