Wartales is an open-world role-playing game set in a beautiful medieval universe. For the last hundred years, the population of the Edoran Empire was decimated by a terrible plague. The government structure was in shambles, and turmoil and chaos have expanded across the world,.which is now dominated by mercenary bands and unscrupulous bandits. In this perilous scenario, you are the leader of a group of mercenaries, and your mission is to lead them to glory while keeping their bags full. You and your men are not special, just hardened men trying to earn their sustenance by any means in a hostile world.

In Wartales, you can explore the world as you please and take on different missions. You can accept contracts from different factions, collect bounties from thieves, and do whatever it takes to gain profit. The money you collect will be used to recruit more people for your band, buy better equipment, and expand your mercenary camp with amenities to keep your men happy. In combat, you will engage your enemies in tactical turn-based battles, where your strategy will decide if you live or die.

With a vast world to explore and plenty of challenging encounters to face, Wartales is a challenging adventure in a harsh world. Are you brave enough to lead your men to a glorious fate?

I'm excited to play this open world RPG with survival elements by Evoland's creators. I want to see how this french team have reinvented combats, party and story.
