The CREO Complex was just supposed to be another job. A place where you could make a living, make a paycheck, and just be happy. Yep, that's not happening in The Surge. For on your first day on the job, you get knocked out, and when you awaken, the whole complex has gone straight to heck. For there are robots everywhere that's trying to kill you. Your once friendly coworkers are now augmented beings that also want to kill, and everything seems to be run by an A.I. that...well...wants to kill you. To add to the mystery and confusion, you yourself find you're not what you were before you were knocked out. There's a giant exo-suit attached to you, and it has some powerful weapons. Now, you'll need to use it to fight the robots, coworkers, A.I. and everything else that stands in your way just so you can escape and make it through the day. What makes The Surge so interesting isn't just its setting, it's the true Action RPG style that it puts twists on. For with the power of your exo-suit you'll be able to actually job off limbs of your foes, and in the case of your robotic foes, use those limbs to make your own power rise by advancing your own suit. Plus, you'll need to be methodical in combat so that you can perfect dissect your foes and make it to the next battle, and the next battle is coming, and there's one after that, and one after that. This is The Surge, and nothing is what it seems.
