    In a land of perpetual winter, tradition and tragedy are interwined for the common good. The inhabitants of an isle are to offer a human sacrifice to a demon once every ten years, to quench its thirst for blood and bring peace to the land. But one year, before the chosen date is due, the fiend has grown restless and fearing the worse, a maiden named Setsuna is chosen as offering because of her magic powers, and sent with a group of bodyguards in a trip to the sacred shrine where the sacrifice has to take place. I am Setsuna is a japanese role-playing game published by Square Enix that puts you in control of a party of characters as they travel through the world to complete their mission. The game is played from a top-down view perspective and uses the Active Time Battle System that has been made so popular by other games like Final Fantasy, with gauges that get filled over time and time every action for each character. Characters have different skills, that can be improved equipping "Spritnite crystals” on their gear and that synergize between them to create more powerful effects. I am Setsuna is a beautifully designed role-playing game with a sad story that evokes nostalgia for classic RPGs.
