Before you buy Winx Club: The Magic is Back, know this

Winx Club: The Magic is Back is not trying to be some huge fantasy RPG with deep builds, punishing combat, or a massive open world. This feels much more like a light, colorful action-adventure made for a younger audience, or for Winx fans who just want something easy to play without having to learn a hundred systems first. And honestly, that seems to be the whole point. It is simple, bright, direct, and built around the charm of the Winx world rather than complicated gameplay.

The game lets players step into the shoes of the Winx girls and use their magical powers across different locations inspired by the series. You explore, fight enemies, solve basic puzzles, upgrade spells, and swap between fairies depending on what you need. The mechanics are very easy to understand, which makes sense for a game clearly aimed at kids and family play. Combat does not look like it is trying to test your reflexes like a Soulslike, and the puzzles seem more about keeping the adventure moving than making players stare at the screen for twenty minutes.

PC players, check the controller requirement first

One thing PC players should know before buying is that Winx Club: The Magic is Back requires a controller even on PC. Keyboard and mouse are not supported, which is a bit strange in 2026, especially for a Steam release. For younger players playing on a TV or for families using a controller anyway, it might not be a big deal, but it is definitely something to check before jumping in.
