The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is releasing in April

After several delays, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe finally has a release date, and it’s absolutely perfect. The launch is on April 27th—4/27, which are the digits on Stanley’s office door.

Here’s the latest trailer for The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, a loving recreation of the original trailer with a few significant changes

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is an expanded remake of The Stanley Parable (2013), which was already a remake of The Stanley Parable (2011). Yes, this game is a remake of a remake created by co-developers Galactic Cafe and Crows Crows Crows. The team first announced Ultra Deluxe back in 2018, with a target release date in 2020. It was then pushed back to 2021 before getting delayed again, and for a time it seemed like the game was never coming out. We finally received word in late 2021 that Ultra Deluxe was (probably) coming in early 2022. And here we are at last with a proper launch date.

The developers have stated that Ultra Deluxe is a re-imagining that will be weirder than the original, with better graphics, more choices, endings, and general craziness. Players will once again play the role of Stanley, a company slave caught in some bizarre form of existential crisis: he must wander through a seemingly endless office maze, where his choices may or may not have any meaning. Also returning is Kevan Brighting in the role of the Narrator, Stanleys’ constant companion who comments on everything he does—but may now possibly be surprised by the player’s actions.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe will launch on April 27 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. Check out our best prices for The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe code from our comparator.
