Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League hints the return of Batman
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has surprised the fans of the games set in the Arkhamverse with its unique gameplay dynamics. Not only do they exceed anything created by Rocksteady so far, but they also contribute to delivering an experience full of action. They can take the role of the bad guys and unleash chaos throughout Metropolis without any concern to save the city from corrupted heroes.
Being bad feels good in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and the game takes a different approach to some iconic characters from the DC Comic series, opening the door to future and unexpected interactions in the Arkhamverse. However, the game also hides some clues that seem to point at the return of a legendary hero that everyone thinks is dead.
Batman returns?
As players explore Metropolis in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League they can find a series of calendars spread throughout the city. There are 12 of them and a single day is marked on each, but there is only one date that is marked with the Batman symbol, December 14th. If you assign to each date the character corresponding to its order in the alphabet and arrange the, the message "He will return" can also be read. After this information has been revealed by some players the speculation of a possible return of the Dark Knight is rife.
The seemingly impossible return of Batman to the Arkhamverse could be a real possibility, especially after Brainiac has drawn characters like the Joker from alternate realities in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, to say that there will be a new game starring Batman following the events in Batman: Arkham Knight seems a bit of a long shot without an official confirmation.
We will have to wait a bit longer to know if Rocksteady Studios has something to say on this matter, but until that happens Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the perfect choice to return to the Arkhamverse.
