Star Wars Zero Company will feature a linear campaign

Players can expect a 30 to 40-hour adventure with no branching storylines, no alternate endings, no romance options, and no New Game Plus waiting at the finish line. Every player will follow the same overarching narrative, with the emphasis placed on tactical encounters and squad-building rather than rewriting galactic history.
That may sound restrictive in an era where RPGs often advertise dozens of endings and relationship systems, but it's a deliberate creative choice. Rather than spreading its resources across countless narrative permutations, the studio wants to deliver a cinematic campaign where every mission builds toward a specific conclusion. Your decisions on the battlefield will still matter, but don't expect conversations to send the story careening down wildly different paths. This is something that is not strange to games in the Star Wars franchise. It may not be the most replayable trip through the Star Wars universe, but if the campaign sticks the landing, it could prove that sometimes the best stories don't need alternate timelines or a thousand community-made Stormtrooper helmets to leave a lasting impression.
