Watch 15 minutes of Scorn gameplay in a new video

If we say that Scorn has all the potential to become one of the most strange games ever created, at least when it comes to scenarios and art style, we will probably be quite accurate. This first-person survival horror adventure is currently in development by Ebb Software, and it will let players delve into a nightmarish world inspired by the work of HR Giger. In Scorn you will play as a skinless humanoid that will have to progress through the game fighting enemies of all kinds. Starting from that premise and taking just a small peek at a recently published video that shows fifteen minutes of gameplay, you will realize that Scorn is like nothing you have experienced before.

The organic and biologic design of every element in the game contributes to creating an immersion feeling that will remind you at every moment that you won't know what to expect. Everything in Scorn looks like taken out of an Alien movie. We are not only talking about the scenarios or the weapons, which definitely look from out of this world, but also about the way in which you interact with every trigger and switch in the game. As you solve puzzles and progress through the intricate maze of corridors and rooms that form the world of Scorn, you will be under constant pressure, not knowing what to expect.

As you can see, Scorn is not about killing lots of enemies. There are not too many of them but they seem to be quite dangerous, and your resources to keep them at bay will be very limited. You will have to choose the best weapon for every encounter and be careful when aiming because ammunition seems to be quite limited and reloading takes a lot of time.

We will have to wait until the developers release more information to know about the story in the game. The release of Scorn is scheduled for 2021 on PC and Xbox SeriesX/S but there is not an exact date for it to happen yet.
