KONAMI shows more of Silent Hill f

There were many rumours and news about the Silent Hill series during the last year, although most of them revolved around Silent Hill 2. The remake of the classic horror game got all the eyes on it but KONAMI had more ambitious plans for a series that has become a cult classic among the fans of the genre. As it was announced in 2022, the publisher aimed to bring the series back to the front line with a total of four titles, and Silent Hill f is going to be the next one. The game was finally revealed yesterday with an exciting video that offers the fans a first look.

Welcome to Japan

Silent Hill f will take players to Japan in the 1960s. The small rural town of Ebisugaoka is the scenario of strange events. The town is suddenly covered in a mysterious fog that completely changes the place and some of its inhabitants. The protagonist of Silent Hill f is Shimizu Hinako, a Japanese teenager who suddenly finds herself having to explore a town that is no longer familiar while fighting for her life and solving puzzles to progress. The beautiful yet eerie scenario seems like the perfect place for a Silent Hill story, even though it will be quite different from the town where previous events in the series happened. This change opens up the door to a different approach and the introduction of new ideas that hopefully will be appealing enough to the Western public.

Silent Hill f will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. KONAMI has not revealed an official release date yet but it has promised to share more details in the future.
