Combat and progression remain central to the experience. Early gameplay showcases reveal heavier melee combat, improved ranged attacks, and more fluid movement while still preserving the original’s deliberate pacing. NPCs continue to follow daily routines, react to player actions, and create a living world that changes depending on faction choices.

Fans have responded positively to recent demos after early criticism pushed the developers to redesign major parts of the project.
