Dying Light 2: Stay Human gameplay looks brutal
The huge success of Dying Light is partly responsible for the great care that the Polish studio Techland is putting in the development of its sequel. The studio does not want to disappoint the fans of the first game, and it's focused on delivering the best possible experience at launch with Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Yesterday's Gamescom stream gives us another chance to watch the impressive features of the game and provides some insight into the origin of the current situation, which was caused by a virus outbreak that turned most of the population in The City into bloodthirsty zombie-like creatures.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks like a more refined game than its predecessor. The unique parkour movements that made Dying Light famous increase their number and variety in the new game. They are also integrated better in the gameplay, feeling more fluid and allowing for spectacular moves in combat. Also, the scenarios are more varied, and the city has turned into a multi-layered playground that is yours to navigate as you please if you are skilled enough. The video showcases a good deal of combat footage, and those that love to fight in close quarters will love it. Even though Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a survival horror experience in a post-apocalyptic zombie scenario, the number of non-zombie threats you will have to face in the game increases with the introduction of several factions that have established themselves in The City. Twenty years of trying to survive under extreme conditions made some of them even more deadly and brutal than the zombies.
On the graphics side, Dying Light 2: Stay Human takes advantage of the new technology and comes with many improvements. It supports 4K resolutions, RTX, DLSS, and plenty of enhancements that make the game look fantastic, as you can see in the video below.
The release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human is scheduled for December 7 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. You can find it at the best price anytime thanks to our comparator.
