When Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time was announced, many of the fans of the platform series were quite happy, both because they were going to play as their loved marsupial once again and because the next Crash Bandicoot game was not going to be a racing game. It's not that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is not a good game, but the fans have been eager to play a new platform game for quite a while. It's quite true that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy allows you to play a modern version of the classics, but a brand new game had been in the dreams of the fans for quite a while. That long wait is coming to an end very soon, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time launch trailer has just been published to prove it.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will bring back many of the iconic characters of the platform series. In the game, you will play as Crash and Coco, which which are set on a mission to stop Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy from spreading chaos through multiple dimensions. Crash and Coco will gain new powers thanks to the Quantum Masks, which will let them control gravity, slow time down, and even phase in and out of reality certain objects. On several levels, you will also play as other characters, like Tawna or Dingodile, who have a different set of abilities. The levels you visit will be spread through multiple dimensions too, so you will find unexpected environments in each of them that will make Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time gameplay more varied and exciting than ever.

It's quite clear that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time has all the ingredients needed to become a big hit when it launches on October 2nd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The only remaining question is if we will be able to play the game on other platforms in the future. A PC version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time has not been confirmed yet but it may be released at a later date as it happened with the N. Sane Trilogy.
