Black Ops 6 Takes Pop Culture Crossovers to the Next Level

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is going all-in on pop culture collaborations, bringing a variety of iconic franchises into the battlefield. One of the standout crossovers is with John Wick: Ballerina, which launched alongside the film in June 2025. Players can unlock the Eve Macarro operator (Ana de Armas) with stylish outfits, blueprints, and unique finishers, either through purchase or event challenges.

Another standout is the Blaze of Glory event, a tongue-in-cheek cannabis-themed celebration headlined by Jay and Silent Bob. This mid-season update introduced surreal gameplay modes like "Joint Operations," complete with altered physics and visual effects. Players could unlock the comedic duo as operators—decked out as Bluntman and Chronic—alongside the new Ladra SMG and themed cosmetics. The event showed Black Ops 6’s willingness to mix humor with high-octane action.

Black Ops 6 also tapped into nostalgia with its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. Other collaborations include The Terminator (T‑800 operators) and the upcoming American Dad bundle featuring cel-shaded versions of Stan and Roger. Leaks also hint at future crossovers with Halo, Doom, and Gears of War, taking full advantage of Activision’s new Microsoft partnership.

Beyond entertainment tie-ins, Black Ops 6 also supported real-world causes through the C.O.D.E. (Call of Duty Endowment) charity pack, which honored U.S. veterans and service members with themed cosmetics and free in-game events.
