Black Ops 6 Season 2 will kick off with new maps

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is about to put an end to its first season but a new one is ready to start. Season 2 will incorporate a plethora of novelties into the latest installment of one of the most popular FPS series and Activision has shown them in a brand new video. When the new season kicks off on January 28, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players will be able to put their skills to the test in three new maps: Dealership, Lifeline, and Bounty. Each of them features a brand new scenario with unique characteristics that will favour specific approaches to PvP combat, forcing players to adapt their strategies in each match. Later on during the season, new multiplayer maps will arrive to spice up the offer. Alongside the multiplayer maps, the Zombies experience is also getting enhanced with a new map, The Tomb, which will take players to an excavation site where they will have to secure the Sentinel Artifact.

The most significant changes coming in Season 2 will be targeting Warzone. Developer Treyarch is focused on "addressing foundational issues" in the battle royale version of Call of Duty. The feedback from the players has been taken very seriously by the studio and they intend to look into several problems, including cheating and bans, the ability to disable cross-play on consoles in Ranked, server issues, quality of life updates, and requested bug fixes.
