Batman, a new game in preparation?
Decidedly, Batman is the main topic in recent days. And this is normal since the famous superhero is turning 80 this year. Epic Games has also launched a promotion to celebrate this anniversary, and it is offering on its store six free Batman games this week. After that, it's Fortnite's turn to welcome the hero for a temporary event. Available until October 6, the crossover offers various activities in Gotham City, as well as objects related to the iconic vigilante.
But that's not all, as it seems that Batman has decided to return to service and could soon get out of his Batcave. We learned this summer that Warner Bros. Montreal seemed to be working on developing games from the DC comics universe. In addition to this, the exchange of tweets below between Roger Craig Smith and Ryan Galletta leaves us doubtful about the matter.

You should know that Robert Craig Smith is none other than Batman's voice actor in Batman Arkham Origins, and Ryan Galletta is one of the writers of the game. What Gary Miereanu, press officer at Warner Bros. had to say about all this was: " Your publicist thanks you, and promises we’ll let the cat out of the bag reasonably soon. "
However, Ryan Galletta is now working at Tuque Games, a studio currently working on a Dungeons and Dragons game, and Gary Miereanu strongly denied later that this exchange was about a new Batman game. All this could be a cleverly orchestrated teasing to raise the hype around a potential future announcement around Batman, but it is also possible that it has nothing to do with our hero.
However, it is possible that we know something soon because Warner Bros Games Montreal has just posted quite an enigmatic video. It shows the luminous signal of Batman for 30 seconds but you can notice that there are other images hidden. Some Internet users have managed to take captures of these images. Theories have been going on since then, and some think it could be a teaser for a new game centered around the criminal organization Court of Owls. Others also see it as a reference to Ra's al Ghul.

All this is still very mysterious, but perhaps we will have more information at a future event, like the PlayStation State of Play which will take place tomorrow or the Game Awards, which will take place in December.
