No, you haven´t missed a whole week of your life. Today is February 15 and Anthem is still launching on February 22, 2019, but if you are a subscriber of EA Access (Xbox One) or Origin Access (Windows) you should be playing one of the most anticipated shooters of the year already. Maybe we should say trying to play because many users are having problems connecting with the server. Since the game needs you to be connected online while playing, that means some people are not able to play the game at all right now. If you´ve been following the news about the game you probably know already that the same sort of thing happened during the beta tests. EA has recognized those problems on Twitter and they are working on fixing them.

Anthem is a great game and there is no doubt that it should also be a solid contender for the Game of the Year award. By now, you all know about the game features: an amazing world abandoned by its creators, humans fighting against all odds using hi-tech exosuits, collaborative gameplay amazingly mixed with a great single player campaign, lots of endgame and post-launch content to enjoy, and more. Bioware has definitely put a lot of effort into delivering a great AAA title that will provide endless hours of action-packed combat and immersive adventures to the players, so we hope that the problems are solved soon, or at least before the game launch for the rest of us.
