The Outer Worlds is getting an expansion

Halcyon Colony is a place that anyone that has played The Outer Worlds will hardly ever forget. Obsidian Entertainment's action role-playing game turned out to be quite a fun experience, and that shouldn't really be surprising if we consider the popularity of other games developed by the studio, like the Pillars of Eternity series, Tyranny, or Dungeon Siege 3. The Outer Worlds has demonstrated that the studio still has what it takes to create a great game and offer the players an exciting adventure full of action, even outside of their comfort zone, since most of their previous games have taken place on a heroic fantasy setting and The Outer Worlds is a sci-fi adventure.

The Outer Worlds has more than enough content to keep players busy for a long while, especially if you consider that you can explore the Halcyon Colony however you choose. But there is more on the way because Obsidian has just announced the first expansion for The Outer Worlds.

Peril on Gorgon will take players to the asteroid that gives name to the DLC, where they will delve a bit deeper into the origins of Adrena-Time. Of course, other than a new area to explore the DLC will include new weapons, armors, enemies, and more. This first expansion also increases the level cap in the game to 33, adding new skills and perks for the players to unlock.

Peril on Gorgon DLC will be available on September 9 and you can purchase it separately or get it as part of The Outer Worlds Season Pass, which also includes a second DLC called Murder on Eridanos, that will be available later.
