Anton Blackwood has a doubl life in BLACKWOOD, a cinematic third-person action thriller set in New York in 2012. By day, Anton runs a humble DVD store; by night, he becomes a contract killer navigating the city's dangerous criminal underworld.

BLACKWOOD combines responsive gunplay with grounded melee fighting, fluid movement, and brutal contextual takedowns. You can use weapons, hand-to-hand attacks, and the surrounding environment to take down enemies in cinematic encounters. Every fight can turn into a chaotic dance of bullets, punches, and improvised executions.

When you're not hunting targets, you'll have a very different job to worry about. Manage Anton's DVD store by restocking shelves, organizing inventory, setting prices, and deciding how hands-on you want to be. The business provides an important source of income while giving Anton a convincing cover for his dangerous nighttime activities.

BLACKWOOD also lets you make use of Anton's personal spaces. His apartment and store serve as physical hubs where you can manage equipment, interact with the environment, customize your surroundings, and prepare for upcoming jobs. The contrast between everyday shopkeeping and life as an assassin gives the game its distinctive identity.

The story is structured across three acts, following Anton as he becomes increasingly entangled in conspiracies and the consequences of his double life. Act One launched with four main story missions alongside side missions, while Acts Two and Three are planned as free updates for existing owners.

BLACKWOOD offers a stylish take on the assassin fantasy where balancing the books can be almost as important as surviving the next gunfight.
