    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the same puppet in multiple story branches, and does this affect its stats or abilities?
Yes, puppets can be used across multiple story branches. Their stats and abilities are persistent, evolving based on the choices made in each story.
How does the 'Emotion Weave' mechanic influence the narrative and puppet interactions?
The 'Emotion Weave' allows players to directly influence a scene by infusing specific emotions, altering dialogue, character actions, and potentially unlocking hidden story paths.
If a puppet is 'lost' or 'destroyed' in a story branch, is it permanently removed from my collection?
No, puppets are not permanently lost. While events in a story branch can impact a puppet's current state, they will return to your collection, and their core attributes persist.
How does the rarity of the puppet influence its performance in different story scenarios?
Rarer puppets often possess unique abilities and stat bonuses that provide strategic advantages in specific story scenarios. They may also unlock exclusive interactions.
Can I combine different puppet archetypes to create hybrid characters?
The game does not have character combination mechanics. Each puppet has its own specific archetype, which defines its inherent strengths and weaknesses, shaping how it interacts with the story.
What happens if I fail to meet the emotional requirements of a scene using the 'Emotion Weave'?
Failing to meet emotional requirements typically leads to alternative narrative outcomes, such as scene alteration, new challenges, or branching storylines. It's rarely a 'game over' scenario.
Does the order in which I select my puppets for a story impact the storyline?
Yes, the order in which puppets are selected and the starting puppet can have a subtle impact on the narrative, affecting initial scene settings and the relationships between characters.
Are there any consequences for repeatedly using the same puppet in multiple stories?
Repeated use of a puppet does not have direct, negative consequences. The puppet will still be the same, but the overall storyline can be very different based on the decisions made.
How do 'Memory Fragments' impact the puppet customization?
Memory Fragments are resources earned through gameplay which can be used to unlock cosmetic options and modify puppet stats within the customization screen.
