    More of an RPG than a Metroidvania. There's not many movement upgrades and backtracking is mostly to find blueprints and materials. Still a good game nonetheless.

    L’univers est chouette mais j’ai eu du mal à vraiment accrocher. Le gameplay est parfois un peu lourd, et l’exploration manque de rythme. Pas mauvais, mais pas inoubliable non plus.

    Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is a truly valid and solid work, an important exponent of a genre that is too inflated and is progressively losing its novelty factor. Precisely for this reason, Mandragora fails to stand out for its originality or for that sense of uniqueness that one would expect from a work of this kind. Yet its great coherence of gameplay and its almost always spot-on choices manage to frame it as a title that should undoubtedly be given a convincing chance.
